Free Tour Margin & Quotation Calculator

Punch in your base costs and target margin. See the quoted price, per-pax cost, and approximate market position before you send the quote.

Stop guessing your margin

Most independent travel agents quote from gut feel — “Bali costs around ₹80K, charge ₹1L, done”. The result: margin varies wildly between bookings, profitable destinations get under-priced, and unprofitable ones get over-quoted into losing the lead.

This calculator gives you a structured view: base cost, target margin, quoted price, per-pax cost, and where you sit relative to the rest of the market. Use it on every quote. Once you've collected 20-30 quotes, patterns emerge.

FAQ

Where do the market-comparison numbers come from?

The comparison is an APPROXIMATE estimate based on the destination, nights, and package category. It's not a live API quote — for that, NAMA's full platform pulls real-time inventory rates. Use the free tool as a sanity check; use NAMA for accurate competitive pricing.

What margin should I target?

For Indian outbound mid-tier packages, 18-25% gross margin is typical. Luxury packages support 25-35%. Below 15% and you're competing with OTAs; above 35% and you risk losing repeat-client trust. The tool flags when your target is unusual.

Why doesn't this account for taxes / commissions / FX?

It's deliberately simple. Inside NAMA, the full quotation engine handles taxes per state, supplier commissions per vendor, FX hedging, and your own margin floor — but those needed a real product surface, not a free tool.
